Duties and Skills
- Experience in all types of composite yacht construction and repairs.
- Custom mold construction for various types of parts.
- Gelcoat matching and repairs.
- Use of vinylester/polyester and epoxy resins.
- Fairing of yachts and yacht components
- Removal and installation of hardware and equipment
- Work in coordination with other departments
- Careful attention to detail
- Crossover skills with other departments is an asset
- Keep workspaces clean and organized
- Work to achieve deadlines and scheduled hours
- Ensure all workmanship and quality consists with Philbrook’s Boatyard standards
Qualifications
- 5 year’s experience with all types of composite construction and repair
- Pleasure Craft Operators Card, see Transport Canada's website
- Must hold valid class 5 driver’s license
- Computer Skills-must have email and be comfortable with the use of computer equipment
- Must have basic tools of the trade
Compensation
Competitive with industry standards and includes a comprehensive health and benefits package with RRSP after 1 year on staff.
