Welcome to Philbrook’s Boatyard, the Pacific Northwest’s premier full-service boatyard, offering onsite facilities for custom design and construction, and complete boat repairs. Our shipyard has been in continuous operation since 1950 and has earned a reputation for quickly adapting to changing markets and responding to the sophisticated needs of our customers.

Philbrook’s is recognized for building elegant custom motor and sailing yachts, while steadfastly keeping abreast of new technologies, materials and manufacturing techniques in the ship building and repair industries.

The Metal Fabrication Department of Philbrook's Boatyard is proud of its highly qualified and skilled journeymen metal fabricators and certified welders.

Our specialties include welding, machining, fabricating and metal polishing. We repair and manufacture fuel tanks, masts, railings, water and black water tanks, arches, anchor systems, and radar masts. We also polish and machine custom pieces, as well as bend and form stainless steel tubing.

One of the few specialized Marine Metalwork shops in the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver Island and Vancouver areas, is found at Philbrook's Boatyard.

Our fabrication shop is not limited to marine work. We also specialize in architectural and automotive metal fabrication, custom motorcycle parts and fabrication, and sheet metal shaping and forming!

Last Call- 118' Luxury Yacht, renovations include adding 5ft. to the overall length and reconfiguring the stern of the vessel from a traditional cockpit to Euro-style open transom.

Chinook Post- 65' custom aluminium power, built from start to finish.

Tintagel- 59' pilothouse sloop extensive refit in 1999 included custom designed stainless work and railings.

Southern Cross II - 105' aluminium power boat came to Philbrook's Boatyard for a complete repowering of both engines which had to be removed through holes cut through two decks above.
